No. The Free tier works without sign-up — generate flashcards, take quizzes, save decks (on your device). Sign-in becomes useful when you want your XP, streak, and decks to follow you across devices.

The mascot you pick at the bottom-left of every page. They write the cards, voice the explanations, and react when you study. All 11 are free for everyone — Capi (free default), Slacker, Wizard, Hype Beast, Goblin, Granny, Pirate, Cool Sibling, Anime Hero, Cat, and Mentor.

Tap the floating mascot at the bottom-left of any page. A panel opens with all 3 mascots in a grid. Click one. Your selection is saved — they'll be your buddy on every page until you switch again.

A solo fast-paced speed quiz mode inside the School Tutor. 10 questions, 10 seconds each. Faster correct answers score higher. Confetti for high scores. It's a single-player game mode — you can replay it on any deck or subject as many times as you want.

Yes — open any deck on /decks (your own or featured), click 🎮 Quiz Battle, and the cards auto-convert to MCQ for the speed mode.

Crammify is three AI tutors, each tuned for a different job:

• 🗣️ Language Tutor: sequential lessons in Spanish, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Mandarin, Korean, and Portuguese.
• 📚 School Tutor: AP/SAT/ACT/K-12 study sets — plus Quiz Battle, a fast-paced speed quiz game mode.

Capi picks the right tutor for whatever you paste in.

Every tutor has 3 selectors at the top:

• Difficulty: Easy (intro material) / Medium (core+application) / Hard (nuance + edge cases)
• Grade Level: K-5 → adult — adjusts vocabulary and depth
• Length: Short (3-5 items) / Standard / Long (8-12 items)

Settings persist across sessions on this device.

Flashcards have 5 styles:

• Simple: pure "What is X?" → definition
• Standard: mixed question types (default)
• Detailed: specific facts — dates, names, formulas
• Fill-in-blank: cloze deletion (sentence with a blank)
• Multiple Choice: 4 options per card with explanation

After generating flashcards, click 💾 Save this deck. It saves to this device. Visit /decks to see all your saved decks. Click any to enter study mode.

One card at a time. Read the front, tap to flip, then rate yourself: Got it, Skip, or Forgot. Your buddy reacts in their voice each time. At the end you see your score.

Signed in: decks sync to your Crammify account and follow you across web + iOS. Guests: decks save to this device only (browser/app localStorage). Sign in any time to migrate your local decks to the cloud.

Every action: +15 for completing a flashcards session, +25 for a quiz (+40 if perfect), and bonus XP for finishing a lesson across any of the 3 tutors. Plus a streak bonus on the first action of each day.

Pick a mascot to give your study sessions a different voice and vibe. Studying with completing daily quests unlocks the Polyglot achievement.

3 quests refresh at midnight (e.g. "Use 3 different tools"). Complete them for bonus XP. View at /account.

Yes — streak resets to 1 the next time you study. Plus tier gets 1 streak freeze per month, Pro gets 3. (Streak freezes auto-apply when you miss a day.)

Yes. 5 lessons a day across both tutors (Language and School), 10 hearts a day shared across tutors, and all 3 mascots. Forever, on both web and iOS. The web tier shows contextual (non-personalized) ads via Google AdSense; iOS is ad-free.

Plus ($4.99/mo, 3-day free trial): unlimited lessons across both tutors, unlimited hearts, ad-free, unlimited saved decks, 1 streak freeze/month. Pro ($9.99/mo, no trial): everything in Plus + smarter AI (Claude Sonnet) + spaced repetition + standard flashcard export + priority generation queue + premium voices + 3 streak freezes/month.

For v1, all paid tiers (Plus + Pro) are iPhone-only via Apple In-App Purchase. The web is free, forever. Web purchases are coming back in v1.1, ~1-2 months after iOS launch.

Apple manages all iOS subscriptions, not Crammify. To cancel:

1. iPhone Settings → tap your Apple ID at the top → Subscriptions
2. Find Crammify → Cancel Subscription

You'll keep Plus/Pro features until the end of your billing period.

Apple processes all refunds for App Store subscriptions — we can't issue refunds directly. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Crammify charge, and click "Report." Apple decides; most accidental purchases get refunded within 24 hours.

You get full Plus features (50 generations across the 3 days, more than enough for normal use). Apple charges your account on day 3 unless you cancel before then. Apple emails you 24 hours before the charge as a reminder. Cancel from iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions any time.

Usually it syncs in under a minute. If it's been longer:

1. Force-quit Crammify (swipe up + flick the app away)
2. Reopen → Plus should unlock
3. Still locked? Email hello@crammify.com with your Apple receipt and we'll fix it manually.

Yes. Plus and Pro are tied to your Crammify account, not your device. Sign in on the web with the same Google account → unlimited everything works there too.

Yes — in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Crammify → tap to see history. We can't show this in the app because Apple doesn't share charge data with developers.

Crammify uses Claude(Anthropic) — known for character voice and reasoning quality. A general-purpose chat model could do similar things if you prompted it carefully, but you'd be doing all the work yourself. We package the prompts, the personalities, the formats, and save your decks.

No. Anthropic doesn't train models on your API content (per their data policy). Your notes are processed to generate output, then discarded by them. We store your saved decks in our database, but only for you to access.

No. Crammify is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you are under 13, please don't sign up. (See our Privacy Policy for details.)

A solo founder under Clawmark Studio. Real answer: most study apps are written by people who haven't cracked open a textbook in a decade. Crammify is built by someone still in the trenches — the AI doesn't know what "cramming feels like," but the person building it does.

The studio name. Crammify is one of two products — the other is Blue Spark, a speedrun platformer launching on Steam June 4, 2026.
